Bed and Breakfast al Castello

The B&B Al Castello is located in the Gargano, a Promontory of the North of Apulia, at Rodi Garganico, a colorful village on the sea in province of Foggia and in the Gargano National Park. The main building and the other apartments, at the incoming of Rodi Garganico historical center, is also near the main public square and in the zone in which it is supposed they rose the ancient fortified baronial castle and buildings to its service, maybe as a prison and the the town-walls that protected the middle age village.

The road the lead to it, in fact, local it is called sott'u' castell' that means under the castle, to memory of the presence of the ancient town-walls, of which remain little traces in some towers and in some ruins. In the building in which today it has been realized the Bed and Breakfast, in more recent years, that is to the beginnings of 900s, it was inhabited from the lighthouse-man of the country, our great-grandfather, with its family.

During the restoration jobs we have payed attention to maintain the original structure. Because of each apartment has a single bath, we prefers not to rent the single rooms but the entire apartments, equiped of kitchen and all e tutti finemente arredati.
